Is Med Health Plus health insurance?

No, we offer members huge discounted rates on all their healthcare needs. Since Med Health Plus is not health insurance, you are responsible for all healthcare fees incurred and you must make payments at the time of service.

How much will I save?

As a Med Health Plus member, you can expect to save between 10-60% instantly on any visit to a health provider in he Med Health Plus network. Savings vary based on the service you have selected and the state that you are in.

How do I receive my discounts?

Simply choose a health provider within the Med Health Plus affiliated provider networks. When you appear for your appointment, present your Med Health Plus membership card. You will immediately receive your discount when you pay for your services. There is no paperwork to deal with.

Is there a deductible?

No. Unlike health insurance, there are no deductibles. You receive the discounted rate and pay the provider directly at the time of service.

Are there any Age or Health restrictions?

No. Med Health Plus is not health insurance so anyone can join regardless of age or health conditions.

Is there a waiting period before I can use my healthcare discount card?

No. Once you receive your Med Health Plus membership package you will be ready to begin saving. However, the Accident Insurance portion of this program does have a 30 day waiting period which begins the day you sign up!

Is my family included in my Med Health Plus membership?

Yes. With the TMA PLUS Family Plan, any member in your household can use your Med Health Plus membership as long as they are considered a dependent or spouse under IRS guidelines.

Do I pay the provider at time of service?

Yes. All payments are due at time of service, unless you have made other arrangements with your healthcare provider.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel any time and for any reason, there are no long term contracts or obligations simply contact Member Services and with that your membership will be terminated immediately.

Is there co-pay when I visit a provider?

No. Med Health Plus is not health insurance so you only pay the discounted rate for the provider services, at the time of service.

How do I obtain a list of providers that are in the network?

Med Health Plus members receive a list of local providers in each of its affiliated networks in their member package. For additional providers, call the affiliated network at the toll-free number in the member package. Or click here.

How do I know I have received my discount?

Med Health Plus only contracts with the most reputable and credible Provider Networks in the country. The discounts are pre negotiated by the Provider Network not the Provider and the rates cannot be changed or altered by the provider.

What happens if the network provider does not know about the Med Health Plus healthcare discount program?

You will still get your discount, even if the provider is not familiar with Med Health Plus. We use third party networks (such as Galaxy, ppoNEXT and Beech Street.) so even if a particular provider does not know the Med Health Plus name, they are obligated to give members the agreed upon discounts negotiated by the provider network.

What is your cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy is clearly spelled out in the membership package “Terms and Conditions.” Rest assured that you can cancel your Med Health Plus membership at any time and for any reason – there are no long-term contracts or obligations! Remember that termination of a health insurance program may hinder your ability to regain coverage in the future. So whether or not to carry health insurance is a personal matter to be considered seriously.

Can I go to my own Doctor or Dentist?

Yes as long as your doctor is part of wither the Galaxy, ppoNEXT or Beech Street Newtworks, or your Dentist is part of the Aetna Dental AccessSM Network.

Can I use Med Health Plus across the country?

Yes. You can use your Med Health Plus program anywhere in the United States. A nationally recognized leader in medical discount savings, our network of participating physicians and health providers includes more than 500,000 locations across the country.

This plan provides discounts at certain health care providers for med ical services. This plan does not make payments directly to the providers of medical services. The plan member is obligated to pay for all health care services but will receive a discount from those health care providers who have contracted with the discount plan organization.
